I\'ve been to Barton\'s several times. Great food. Prices are a bit high but the quality and the service are worth it. Ambiance is great too.

Definitely recommend you give them a try. You\'ll be happy you did.

I just watched the rerun of Rachel's Ray show on December 29, 2008 where Jessica makes this recipe. I know Rachel had to allow Jessica to make this recipe her way, but for those of you who are making this recipe or wanting to make this recipe, it would be much easier if you take the last four ingredients, which includes the two soups, broth and peppper, and mix them together in a separate bowl before putting them on top of the dumplings. Then all you have to do is poor the mixture over the dumplings.

I haven't tried this recipe, but it does sound like it would be good. I probably would add some spices to make it even better. Maybe even mixing something with the chicken like a can of green chilies and sauted onions before wrapping it in the crescent roll dough. You could also take part of the soup mixture and mix it into the chicken mixture before making the 'dumplings.' Just some suggestions to make life a little easier and possibly a little tastier!

I am a native of Kentucky, now a resident of Wyoming. My mother and all the women in our circle made the Banana Croquettes. I still enjoy them occasionally but my family has not learned to love them.
This is a different matter but I would like to find the recipe for a cheese salad served by the Blue Boar Cafeteria in Louisville in the 1950s. I cannot recall the name of it for sure but think it was Gethsamane.
Thank you for any assistance acquiring this recipe.

This recipe came from a DOCTOR!! I FIND THAT TRULY AMAZING. It should be called Anita's Heart Attack Casserole. C'mon, even if it is the holidays when everyone over indulges just a bit, 2 lbs. Bacon, a cup (or a little more) REAL mayonaise, a cup half and half and then a cup of cheese to boot! Anyone who would cook this should be charged with criminal negligence.

murray's dinner theatre...

It is amazing that you wrote a decent blurb regarding OFF THE SHELF - Issue # 35: MODERN CLASSICS (Part Two) | Stale Popcorn. I just did a quick search on murray's dinner theatre and was fascinated! Nice job!...
