New restaurant opens up, way up
Baker’s 360 is open in downtown Lexington on the top floor of the Chase Bank building.
Formerly the Lafayette Club, the space at 201 East Main Street is now a restaurant and nightclub.
Tony Efstratiadis is the chef, and he’s serving a contemporary steakhouse menu with sushi and seafood dishes. Included are dry-aged, bone-in cowboy rib-eyes; jumbo lump crab cakes with seviche of poached shrimp; seared pork loin lollipops; and a raw bar.
Efstratiadis attended Johnson & Wales University Culinary Arts program in Providence, R.I., and he has worked at restaurants in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Louisville, Cincinnati (with the Jeff Ruby Group) and San Antonio.
Restaurant hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The nightclub opens at 10 p.m. Call (859) 523 7797.
Going public
Frank Bickel and Annette Jett are taking over the restaurant at The Signature Club of Lansdowne and opening it to the public.
Franky & Annette’s will serve resort-style cuisine when it opens May 20.
